Will Independent Service Affect My Lexus Warranty?
No. According to the Federal Trade Commission, you do not have to use the dealer for maintenance or repairs to keep your warranty in effect. What matters is that the maintenance gets done and that you keep the records. You receive an itemized invoice for every visit, so you will have them.
Recalls and repairs that are free under the factory warranty are the exception. Those still go to a Lexus dealer.
